I took my car in to have the air repaired. They over charged me (confirmed by other local shops), then argued with me about the other mechanics qualifications! Completely unprofessional and rude. Rodney, the guy I spoke with, lost my business for this company and hopefully you will stay clear of A Plus Auto on Montague! I should have gone to Geralds... "Where they know how to treat a lady!" Beware of A plus Auto and their overbilling practices!

I am always deeply dissapointed when a customer is not satisfied with our work. Though we cannot always be the cheapest, we strive to do a professional job at a fair price for the type of customer who wants a job done Right. As soon as this customer said that we were priced too high, I also checked with local competitors and found our pricing to be right in line with other facilities. Unfortunately this customer was receiving her information from a relative who said that he could and we should be willing to do the work for less. This sometimes works well, but many times we end up making the same repair plus the damage done because of the lack of correct diagnostic procedures and equipment. We are not backyard mechanics who are willing throw cheap parts on at discount prices. We are professional technicians whose #1 Goal is to get it RIGHT the First Time.

Thank you so much for all you do to keep our cars on the road. It means so much to us to have a mechanic we know is honest and whom we can trust.
